Yes. Rather than entering a software standby mode, a hardware latching relay physically
disconnects the power line itself. With the circuit broken there is simply no path for
current to flow.
Yes. WESCON's technology is network independent and does not rely on any external network
or server. It operates correctly from local sensing even when the network is down or a
server fails.
